One mechanic, one bench, and no bike turned away for being old
Founded in 2025 in Pudsey, just outside Leeds.
At Sparks & Spanners, motorcycles are more than machines. From iconic classics to modern rides, the passion for two wheels drives everything that happens in the workshop.
Meet Phil
“It started in my own garage. Just me, some tools, and a love for motorcycles.”
Phil’s fascination with bikes began young. From wrenching on his own machines to years of hands-on work in small businesses and national franchises, he built up deep experience as a mechanic, a technician and a workshop manager.
With time came the urge to turn a passion project into something lasting. Something he could build and share with his family, and with riders who appreciate craftsmanship.

The person who answers the phone is the person doing the work. You get told what a job needs, what it does not need, and what it will cost before it starts.

MOT done while I waited so no having to leave the bike and come back later. On a side note I also got Phil to recover a friends bike after he fell off his bike due to a diesel spill and checked the bike over for damage. Excellent friendly service.
